Parenting Resource and Education Network, The

Parenting Resource and Education Network (PREN) is a comprehensive set of programs specifically designed to provide parenting education to parents through community parenting centers.  PREN uses a parents-helping -parents model where parents within the community are trained and certified.  PREN has established parenting centers in communities throughout the tri-state area.  PREN has also established programs for schools, hospitals and the juvenile justice system, as well as other professional settings.  PREN's training is based on well-researched principles of emotional health, nurturing values, process-learning models, applied transfer of training methodology and measurable outcomes.  It is our desire to permeate each community with trained PREN Parenting Educators to provide programs to nurture and empower parents and families. PREN is also an Act 48 provider.
