Norristown Family Center
A free, voluntary, user- friendly prevention program designed to strengthen and empower families. Parents of children from birth to five and soon to be parents living in the greater Norristown area are eligible. Services offered include home visits and group meetings with family development specialists trained in Parent As Teachers model that brings information on child development, neuroscience, screenings, discipline and other parenting issues, Parent Education Classes, Reading is Fundamental book distributions, weekly meetings for fathers of children any age, and individualized information about community resources that assist parents with safety, children and family well being.
