Montgomery County Mediation Center

The only non-profit, community mediation center in Montgomery County providing mediation services, training and restorative justice programs.  MCMC's mission is to help people improve the quality of their communication in the midst of conflict.   They promote interpersonal understanding and provide the opportunity for people to make decisions about how to resolve their disputes.  Services are available for family conflicts, neighborhood conflicts, elder issues, business disputes and organizational issues.  In addition they offer Victim/Offender Conferencing as an opportunity for face-to-face meetings between victims of juvenile crime and their youth offenders who have accepted responsibility for their offense.  Also, Youth Aid Panels, a program of the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office and administered by MCMC, offer first time offenders an opportunity to meet with community volunteer panels as an alternative to Juvenile or District Court.
