Laurel House
Laurel House provides a continuum of domestic violence services for victims and the community-at-large, including a 24-hour hotline; shelter; a transitional housing program; legal advocacy; individual and group support to women and their children residing in shelter and transitional housing. Also provided is individual counseling and support groups to those victimized by domestic violence in the community; a host of volunteer opportunities; and, education, training and outreach to schools, faith communities, human service professionals, as well as other community groups. Through Dart I, educating and working cooperatively with police professionals, and Dart II, educating and working cooperatively with police officers, Laurel House, the healthcare community and law enforcement are better able to serve victims and their families.
